PV Music Department is excited to present...

First Virtual Holiday Concert!

The concert premiered on December 17th, 2020, at 7pm.

HOLIDAY CONCERT PROGRAM

The Band program shared its rendition of several holiday carols through varying chamber music ensembles. We had several brass ensembles with some strings, a flute ensemble, a clarinet and percussion ensemble, a saxophone and percussion ensemble, and a double reed trio. These groups were made of members of the PV Band program.

The Choir portion of the concert included festive performances by the school's Concert Choir, a cappella all-male group, Bro Squad, and the Award-winning Chamber Choir. Additionally, we highlighted vocal duets, trios, quartets, and small group performances by some outstanding students from different vocal ensembles. The program included some holiday favorites such as White Christmas, A Hanukkah Celebration, Once Upon a December, Believe (from Polar Express), Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, as well as some music from around the world (Thina Singa), pop classics (And So It Goes by Billy Joel and Hooked on a Feeling, originally performed by B.J. Thomas), and Broadway favorites (You Will Be Found from Dear Evan Hansen). The concert concluded with the performance of the “Hallelujah Chorus” from The Messiah by G. F. Handel, a long-standing tradition at Pascack Valley High School!

Halloween Talent Night, October 30th, 2019

Every year, our choir hosts a Halloween Talent Night,

featuring our school's incredibly talented students and faculty.

Hackensack University Medical Center Tree Lighting

PV Choir members performed at the HUMC Tree Lighting in December 2019.

Holiday Concert: December 12th, 2019

It is a tradition at Pascack Valley to present a Holiday Concert every year in December, along with our band.

Valentine's Day Talent Night, February 12th, 2020

Every year, the PV choir hosts a Valentine's Day Talent Night.

Virtual Valley: Volume Up!

In April 2020, the PV Choir and the Tri-M Music Honors Society members organized a school-wide virtual talent show. Numerous students and faculty shared their gifts during quarantine.
