Welcome to the Pascack Valley High School Music Department!
James has been enrolled in the Chamber Choir since his sophomore year and in Bro Squad since his freshman year. He was accepted into the Pilot Honors Choir in his senior year and has performed in Broadway Spotlight: the first Honors Choir event. He performed with the Bergen County Choir and the Region Jazz Choir last year, and with the Bergen County Choir again this year. He is the stage manager on the Choir Board and has helped backstage and performed in several talent nights. He also sang in musicals through the Pascack Valley Theatre Program, including Chicago, High School Musical: The Musical, Legally Blonde, and Mamma Mia! In addition to singing, he has picked up instruments like piano, guitar, and bass. James plans to major in music education (classical voice) at William Paterson University.
Olivia has loved music ever since she was little. Along with the regular songs like "Itsy Bitsy Spider," her mini radio also featured Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas. Singing and music have always been comforting, and she’s so grateful to have access to it in her life. She plans to go to college for musical theatre because she loves telling stories with her voice. How you use your voice and what message you send across with it is very critical, and she tries her best every time she performs to let that shine. She will be attending Manhattan School of Music for Musical Theatre in the fall and is so excited to have music in her life forever!
Ashlyn has been a part of the PV choir since her freshman year. She loves singing and started in the lunch choir in her freshman year, and she moved on to Chamber Choir in her senior year. In her sophomore year, she participated in Bergen County Choir, and she has been a member of the New Jersey All-State Choir for three years. In the fall, she is so excited to study Chemistry at Boston College!
Tyler joined the choir in his junior year. He also joined Bro Squad in his junior year. He participated in Pascack Valley Theatre, working backstage for the shows. He’s sad to be leaving, but excited to see what the future holds for him. Tyler will be studying neuroscience (pre-med) at Drew University.
Christopher has been involved in the PV choir for the past 4 years. He has been a member of Bro Squad since his freshman year. He was in Lunch Choir for 2 years, and he has occasionally played piano for the choirs. He performed with the New Jersey All-State Choir last year and has fond memories of his time there. This year, Christopher was accepted into the Pilot Honors Choir, a subsection of the Chamber Choir. He also plays piano for fun outside of school and loves a cappella music. After high school, Christopher plans to attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst to study computational linguistics, and he is grateful to his colleagues and parents for encouraging him on his musical journey!
Julia has an unwavering love for music. She is a member of the PV Honors Chamber Choir and B Naturals. This will be Julia’s third year as part of the Tri-M Music Honors Society. She is a proud member of the Choir Board as one of one of the librarians. Julia's musical journey extended to the Presentation Church choir in Saddle River, where she finds joy in spiritual expression. Guided by her voice coach, Terry Grosso, she continues to improve her musicianship. She is also a member of the National Honor Society. Julia had the honor of being a part of the NJ All-State Choir and was a 2026 member of the Bergen County Choir as well as NJ Region I Choir. Julia is looking forward to studying Psychology at St. Thomas Aquinas College’s honors program, and hopes to be a Music Therapist after graduation.
Sean has been in the PV choir since his freshman year and became a member of Chamber choir his sophomore year. He’s loved music since he was young.
